In general, the cost of consumer credit to a member of the Armed Forces and his or her dependent may not exceed an annual percentage rate of 36 percent. This rate must include, as applicable to the credit transaction or account: the costs associated with credit insurance premiums; fees for ancillary products sold in connection with the credit transaction; any application fee charged (other than certain application fees for specified credit transactions or accounts); and any participation fee charged (other than certain participation fees for a credit card account).

The Federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract); because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program; or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who applies for a loan. When you apply, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that allows us to identify you. We may also ask to see identifying documents.
Before you sign a loan agreement with us, we provide the federal disclosures required by the Truth in Lending Act, including your annual percentage rate (APR), finance charge, amount financed, total of payments, and payment schedule. Review these figures carefully; they govern over any example shown elsewhere on this site. Loan agreements are provided electronically in most cases — see our E-Sign Consent page for how to request a paper copy.
You may cancel your loan agreement at no cost by providing written notice by fax or email before 5:00 PM MST on the next business day after your loan is made. If you cancel within this window, you will not owe any finance charge, though you remain responsible for repaying the principal you received. See our Terms and Conditions for the full cancellation procedure.
If your account becomes past due, we engage in fair and lawful collection practices consistent with the standards of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), even where we are not directly subject to it. We do not use abusive, deceptive, or unfair collection tactics, we will not misrepresent the amount you owe, and we do not report your loan payments to consumer credit bureaus.
Loan agreements, disclosures, and account notices are generally provided electronically under our E-Sign Consent, which explains your right to request paper copies, how to withdraw consent, and the hardware and software you need to view and save your documents.
